Dinner is Served

Last night we have been invited, Mohammad Hijazi, Nour Rifai, Mischo Richa and I to Couqley, Café et Bistro in the new awesome venue called The Blueberry Square at Dbayeh, facing Le Mall. This open venue groups many restaurants and shops like Let's Burger, Ceramics N' More and the exquisite Couqley. It is 10 mins away from Beirut (If there's no traffic of course!) and it is very practical because you can park your own car (Or probably give it to the Valet?). I wasn't intending to write a post about this but the food was great, the company was even better so I had to take "crappy" pictures with my phone just to give you an idea of what you will be having if you ever go there.

We started off the night with Sangrias, I have to say the best in town!

So here we go, first, some starters!

Poêlée de Champignons

Tartare de Saumon

Carpaccio de Thon

Fois Gras

Salade de Lentilles

Main dishes;

Filet de Boeuf

Côte de Boeuf

Bar Lovin'!

Beautiful!

But hey, we didn't stop here, we had to try the desserts!

Fondant au Chocolat

Crème Brûlée

Pain Perdu

Thank You Couqley for the tart on our way out!

P.S: They have an awesome terrace outside; so smokers, you're good to go!

Check out their website http://couqley.com for more details.
